MIRA LIM, MD

Dr. Mira Lim completed her cornea training at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary/Harvard Medical School after her ophthalmology residency at Cornell University. Her cornea interests include dry eye/autoimmune disorders and all forms of corneal transplantation. She serves as faculty at UC Berkeley, where she performs laser refractive surgery and attends the medical eye clinic. She also participates as volunteer faculty for California Pacific Medical Center, and teaches ophthalmology residents in her clinic.

 

enoch nam, md

Dr. Enoch Nam M.D. completed his residency at Loma Linda University and cornea fellowship at the Wills Eye Institute in Philadelphia, PA. He went on to serve as Assistant Professor at Loma Linda University where he was actively involved in resident teaching and clinical research. He also served as Director of the refractive surgery service. Dr. Nam specializes in all forms of corneal transplantation. He also has an interest in anterior segment reconstruction and the management of cataract and intraocular lens complications. He is involved in the clinical and surgical training of residents from California Pacific Medical Center. In his free time he enjoys mountain biking, snowboarding and gardening with his wife and two daughters.

shaily shah, md

Dr. Shaily Shah, M.D. completed her fellowship in Cornea, Refractive Surgery and External Disease at Cornell University Medical Center, after her rigorous ophthalmology residency training at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. She went on to serve as Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Cornell University Medical Center where she thoroughly enjoyed teaching residents and fellows, and continued her involvement in clinical research. After many years in New York City, Dr. Shah is thrilled to now be back home in the Bay Area. Dr. Shah’s areas of expertise include dry eye and ocular surface disease, corneal disease, all forms of corneal transplantation, advanced cataract surgery as well as comprehensive ophthalmology. She serves as faculty at CPMC and enjoys teaching residents at Highland Hospital.

LINA CHAN, OD

Dr. Lina Chan studied optometry at UC Berkeley where she was honored with the Beta Sigma Kappa Achievement Award and membership in the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. She is fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin. She also enjoys baking and traveling.

VALERIE LIM, OD, FAAO

Dr. Valerie Lim received her B.S. in Molecular Cell Developmental Biology from the University of California, Los Angeles before earning her Doctorate of Optometry degree from the University of California, Berkeley. She completed her residency in Cornea and Contact Lenses at Southern California College of Optometry with a specific interest in corneal and scleral lens fittings for patients with irregular corneas. In her free time, she enjoys cheering for the Warriors and Niners, eating adventurously, and spending time outdoors.

SUSAN LINK, OD

Dr. Susan Link received her B.A. in Physiology at UC Berkeley. She then studied Optometry at the UC Berkeley Optometry School where she was the recipient of the Harold Kohn Memorial Award and the Julius F. Neumueller Award in Optics. She is also a martial arts instructor at UC Berkeley and has done several marathons. Dr. Link is fluent in Taiwanese.
